Secure Data Destruction

TVR is dedicated to protecting your data, including your clients’ data. Our secure chain of custody from the moment we take control of your equipment, through the transportation of equipment back to our facility, we also offer several levels of security once arriving, through data sanitization and/or physical hard drive destruction.

All certified data destruction is performed by full-time, fully vetted TVR Tech technicians, and is never outsourced, so you can be assured that your data is being handled safely and responsibly. Our process ensures that all retired assets from your organization are wiped clean of any and all information, virtually eliminating the risk of a costly data breach.

On-Site Data Destruction

Our teams can wipe hard drives and other types of data containing devices anywhere in the United States at a moment’s notice. Our process is fast, secure, and most importantly tamper-proof. Our reports are unmatched in detail and will guarantee you will pass any third-party audit protecting you from millions of dollars in liabilities that come with current data protection laws. Our proprietary mobile lab technology is designed to work in any environment with no internet connection needed.

Whether your organization has a handful of extremely sensitive pieces of media or an entire data center of storage devices, our experts will be happy to provide you with a free consultation on how TVR Destruction on Demand (DOD) services can meet your organization’s data destruction needs.

Compliance With Regulations

TVR’s hard drive sanitization methods guarantees that sensitive data is non-recoverable. We are extremely confident in our guarantee – we regularly perform quality control checks by sending randomly selected equipment to Ontrack for expert recovery attempts and they have yet to recover any data on any device sent by us for testing.

We destroy data in compliance with the following laws and regulations:

  • HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act)
  • PCI (Payment Card Industry Security Standards)
  • Sarbanes-Oxley Act
  • GLBA (Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act)
  • BSA (Bank Secrecy Act)
  • Patriot Act
  • Identity Theft and Assumption Deterrence Act
  • FDA Security Regulations (21 C.F.R. part 11)
  • Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

During the entire process, we track and catalogue your assets. Once the data destruction has been successfully completed, TVR will issue a Certificate of Data Destruction to the client that details the make, model, and serial number of each asset that has been secured, sanitized or destroyed.

Any reports and certificates issued by TVR may be stored on our secure online portal for client reference or retrieval at a later date.

Off-Site Data Destruction

Whether you need to retire just a few devices, an entire building’s worth of servers, office work stations, or an entire data center, TVR offers a secure chain of custody from pick-up to completion. We offer full-service asset pick-up for those that require it – TVR removal crews will de-install, disassemble and safely remove equipment from where it currently sits, loading and transporting it to our facility. Our crews come prepared with everything needed to move large surplus volumes of IT hardware.

TVR has a strong commitment to the security of our clients’ confidential information. When data storage media is sold, transferred, or recycled, it is important to ensure that all data contained on these devices is eliminated. We offer a secure chain of custody for the transportation of equipment back to our facility where certified data destruction is performed. All proprietary labeling and asset tags are removed from all equipment to protect the privacy of our clients.

All media destruction is performed by our trained and qualified staff in our state-of-the-art data destruction lab. Our lab is a secure enclosure that is under video surveillance and can only be accessed by select staff members of TVR, ensuring the highest measure of safety for your data until it is entirely destroyed.
